Yesterday physics professor Chuck Niederriter organized an canoe/kayak outing to the Blue Earth River for several Gustavus summer researchers and friends, including First-Year Research Experience students Rachel Lund, Ben Rorem, and Melinda Meyer. The river was quite high for this time of year, which made for a swift ride from just below the Rapidan Dam to the Highway 90 bridge south of Mankato. Below are a few pictures from the adventure.
